Gift of the Needy has successfully completed their food distribution for Ramadaan 2013. The project co-ordinators in both Mozambique and Durban, South Africa have gathered deserving communities across the regions, to receive their share of food hampers, dates and milk for an easier Ramadaan period.
We are pleased to report that 18 tonnes of food commodities: rice, sugar, oil, maize meal, beans, flour, juice, biscuits, soap, washing powder, plates, cups, candles, matches etc have already been distributed to 128 Masaajids in Northern Mozambique, besides the 20 tonnes of dates and 15 thousand liters of milk that has been distributed in Mozambique (Lichinga, Pebane, Quelimane, Vilanculos, Pemba, Nacala, Inhambane) and locally as well.
